Every time I have seen the VCAM name written in the last year I have squirmed with frustration and anger, as it sums up so many of the problems: if the people pushing through the current changes don't understand that music is one of the arts, how on earth can we trust them to know enough about the arts to manage the next stage in the life of VCA with knowledge, care, and understanding of the issues involved?
